Music tour to St Helena sells out in just 6 weeks

28 passengers will be boarding the RMS St Helena in Cape Town on 4th November, and their love of music and the desire to discover new places to visit is what they all have in common.

Hans van Heukelum from Unique Destinations in Cape Town who is behind the tour said, ‘We are absolutely delighted with the bookings for this tour. St Helena Line and Andrew Weir Shipping were superb in making all the arrangements, and the assistance of the people of St Helena in helping to create the programme when we are on St Helena could not have been better. I have travelled to many parts of the world, but I am most excited about seeing St Helena and experiencing the RMS'.

The 21 day tour will combine 7 nights on St Helena where special musical events are being planned, with the sea voyage onboard the RMS St Helena via Walvis Bay with an on board ensemble who will accompany the group on the coastal voyages.

Bill Langworthy of Andrew Weir Shipping said, ‘the relatively small size of the RMS operation allows us to easily adapt for themes and special events, and we are particularly pleased that this group will be able to combine the unique experience of the RMS, with a 7 day stay on the island'.

Unique Destinations is already planning more themed voyages for 2009.
