Notice to Shippers of Vehicles from UK Ports

Due to the Security Restrictions at all major ports we advise that it is not permissible for cargo including Personal Effects / baggage (other than equipment related to the vehicle) to be carried in vehicles exported or imported.

These restrictions are covered by The International Ship and Port Facilities Code (ISPS) which are Mandatory requirements for each Port and Vessel Operator. This code is part of the International Maritime Organization requirements and forms part of the United Nations requirements for Port & Vessel security.

Any freight tendered for shipment in a vehicle will be removed and shipped as break bulk cargo and charged at the appropriate tariff rate.
